Ride With Us: Explore East Bay Greenways and Bay Trail with MCBC

Ride With Us on Saturday, March 14 as we cross the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge by bike to check out three essential East Bay bike routes: the Richmond Greenway, Ohlone Greenway, and Bay Trail!

Whether you are a new or seasoned bike commuter looking for the best route to work, or someone looking for weekend exploration across the Bay, let us show you the way and connect you with fellow bike lovers!

The route will be a great introduction to exploring the East Bay by bike, with the Greenways and Bay Trail providing connections to transit (BART and ferry), parks, public art, dining/drinks, and other great destinations, including Rosie the Riveter National Historic Park.

The 30-mile ride is open to all ability levels and will take 3-4 hours, depending on your pace. We’ll have two groups in order to help keep people together with those riding at a similar pace. Those unable to complete the route are welcome to turn back early or take Golden Gate Transit Route 40 back to Marin.
