Description

NOTE: A separate registration form is needed for EACH survivor/passenger.

Fill out the form in its entirety in order to participate.

Ride With a Buddy is a motorcycle and classic car ride. The ride has drivers 'buddy up' with survivors and their family members who have faced, or are facing, the challenges of Alzheimer's, cancer, diabetes, heart disease or another life-limiting illness. The purpose is to bring people from neighboring communities together to help these individuals forget, for a moment in time, the challeges they face on a daily basis, and to raise funds for local heatlhcare organizations and programs that serve those same people.

Motorcycles and cars form a group and cruise appoximately 30 miles through the beautiful rolling hills of southern Wisconsin. Just before re-entering the Rotary Park, the lead bike will pick up a portable torch that will be lit with the ‘Flame of Hope'. Participants of the Ride will escort the flame onto the grounds. After the motorcycles and cars have all entered the park, the ‘Flame of Hope’ will be passed from survivor to survivor. The final survivor lights a huge basin. This basin is lit with the Flame of Hope and that light becomes our beacon of Hope throughout the evening activities.

"Ride With a Buddy" is a Hope Fest event.
