Sat, Jun 24, 2017, 8:00 AM – Sun, Jun 25, 2017, 3:00 PM PDT
Ride the Willapa, an all-levels bike ride in the Chehalis River Valley of southwest Washington state, is 45 miles of pure countryside glory. Providing a beautiful break from city life, the trail begins minutes outside Chehalis, WA and will take its travelers to the small country town of Pe Ell, WA - turning back around to finish at the Chehalis trailhead. Riders have the option of including a complimentary camping stay and enjoying the Village Festival in Pe Ell, or finishing in one day and enjoying some of the local nightlife in the Chehalis/Centralia area.
In addition to the trail ride and festival, participants can also enjoy the 2nd annual Tour de Farms - an agricultural tour of some of the areas finest artisan food producers and rural purveyors of goods. The trail winds through the Chehalis River Valley, known as the source for some of the state's finest artisan agricultural products.
Traversing over century old trestle bridges, through river valleys, thick forests, and past many beautiful farms, the Willapa Hills trail is a part of the area history in a big way.
