Event Information
Description
Dear Sponsors, Cyclists and Volunteers,
It is with a heavy heart that we are cancelling Ride the Rogue 2019. Circumstances beyond our control have caused us to consider long and deeply before making this decision. Our number one priority is for the enjoyment and safety of the participants We would rather disappoint by canceling than have an event that is not properly supported for our cyclists.
The Rogue River Greenway Foundation board extends our apologies and thank you all for your continued support in helping us build the Rogue River Greenway.
We will be refunding all monies collected from participants and sponsors. This process WILL take a while, please be patient. If you sent a check, we will be writing you one. If you paid through Eventbrite/Paypal, we will refund the same way.
If you choose to leave your funds with us as a donation, please let us know. “Ride the Rogue” is hosted by the Rogue River Greenway Foundation, a registered 501 (C) 3 Non-Profit. Your gift/s is therefore tax deductible under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Service Code for federal tax ID # 14-1907756.
This event takes place at the beautiful Palmerton Park Arboretum in the community of Rogue River in Southern Oregon with dozens of volunteers making this ride something really special. All four rides take you through stunning areas of natural beauty and colorful history. From the majestic Table Rocks of Sam’s Valley to rest stops along the sparkling Rogue River, the experience will be one you won't soon forget. Routes for 2019 will again maximize "Ride the Rogue" and you can count on seeing our famous river.
We hope to see you there! Note that this is the main fundraiser of the year for the Rogue River Greenway, and is non refundable. It provides matching funds for Grants, and enables us to pursue other funding.
If you are not riding you can wander down to the Portal by the Rogue River, sit and watch the river or enjoy nature on a walk along the Greenway.
