1st session of 2-part free workshop series:

How to Become Certified for Contracts with Anchor Institutions

SESSION 1: Introduction To Certification*
UC Berkeley’s Supplier Diversity Program Manager, Roesia Gerstein and colleagues from the Small Business Administration and the Contra Costa Small Business Development Center will present an introduction to certification with UC Berkeley, providing guidance on document requirements and other strategies to improve outcomes for local small business to become certified with anchor institutions.

*Pre-requisite for Session 2. Participants interested in Session 2 are required to take Session 1. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis and by contacting Richmond Main Street*

Tuesday, November 14, 10am – 12pm

UC Berkeley Supplier Diversity Program Manager, Roesia Gerstein colleagues from the SBDC will lead a 2-hour online, hands-on completion of certification application at the Catholic Charities computer lab.

Capacity: 35 *waitlist and walk-ins will be allowed as space allows*
