About this event
New Date: The Richard Marx show at Adler Hall, New York Society For Ethical Culture in NYC, originally scheduled for February 26, 2022, will now take place on October 29, 2022. Previously purchased tickets will be honored on the new date.
The Grammy winning hitmaker has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and topped the charts with hits such as “Hold on to the Nights,” “Don’t Mean Nothing,” “Satisfied” and “Right Here Waiting.” He has written hits for numerous artists, including Josh Groban’s “To Where You Are,” Keith Urban’s “Long Hot Summer,” NYSNC’s “This I Promise You,” and Luther Vandross’ “Dance with My Father.” Overall, he has scored 14 No. 1 singles both as a performer and as a songwriter/producer as well as the distinction of having written a No. 1 song in four different decades.
Earlier this summer, Marx celebrated the release of his debut memoir Stories To Tell, with a two-disc audio companion featuring remastered versions of his biggest hits and rarities via BMG. A father to three grown sons (all are musicians), he lives between LA and Miami with his wife Daisy Fuentes.
“I have so much gratitude,” Marx says. “I’m so excited that I’m still doing this and it’s on a level that I’m really proud of. It’s amazing that I can go to these places in the world where they might not be able to pronounce my name properly, but they sing along to all the songs in the show.”
