Event description

Description

The Alan Cheuse International Writers Center at George Mason University presents an evening with acclaimed writer Richard Ford, in conversation with NPR’s book critic for "Fresh Air" Maureen Corrigan. On Thursday, May 4 at 7:30, Ford and Corrigan will discuss Richard’s new book, Between Them: Remembering My Parents, (Ecco; On-sale May 2, 2017), a memoir in two parts about the lives of his late parents – a stirring meditation on memory, connection, and love, and asking how we can better understand ourselves by knowing the ones who made us.
