RHYTHMS ON THE RIO is an attendance capped 3 day festival on the banks of the Rio Grande River. You will instantly feel the community first mentality that has developed over 15 events to make ROTR what it is today; a value driven, laid-back experience with GREAT music for all ages to enjoy TOGETHER!!!!
KIDS 15 AND UNDER ARE FREE!
Produced by the South Fork Music Association, proceeds are used for children's music programs with funding having been provided to 10 School Districts & music programs in the San Luis Valley. We were especially proud to help in funding the renewed Sangre De Cristo School District music program and the Alamosa Live Music Associations school program. Combining Music, Yoga, family fun & camping on site with affordable pricing make this a true Colorado festival.
CAMPING INFO:
We’re sure you will love our NEW location in Del Norte, CO as much as we do.
The Del Norte site will offer plenty of beautiful shade trees along the river, with a much more useable shoreline and better river access for everyone. 🦦
👉 As with any change, however, we will all have to adapt to a few new guidelines related to camping and parking that will be new to ROTR veterans.
We appreciate your understanding and patience while we all adjust to these changes together!
🏕 CAMPING (included with 3-day festival pass):
Car Camping: You will be able to camp with your car. There will be designated car camping areas for vehicles under 20’ and tents. Because of the limitations of the terrain, we will need camping sites to be contained within a 20x20 space.
Walk-in Camping: There will be camping available in the wooded areas on the festival grounds. You will be able to unload close to the walk-in area, and then park your car nearby where you will have access to it all weekend. (Camping in the trees is a risk and that risk is accepted by the attendee. South Fork Music Association or property owner will not be held responsible for damages while camping in the trees.)
🚗 PARKING:
Parking for vehicles 20’ and under is included in the festival pass. That includes passenger cars, trucks, SUVS, etc.; trailers 20' or under, pop-up trailers 20' or under, cabover campers and motorcycles. (You will need to unhook your vehicle from the trailer, but will be able to keep both in your designated camping spot.)
🚐 OTHER CAMPERS (RV’s, motorhomes, trailers larger than 20’):
An RV PASS ($30) will be required in addition to your festival pass. The RV area is in a great location on the festival grounds.
