Born in 1999, and based in Scotland, McGuire has an interdisciplinary approach, dancing between performance, happenings, spoken word and drawing. Their work is transportable, alternative and ecological. McGuire has a background in dance, radio and community-building. For this unique performance they are inspired by and weave amongst the installation by Iain Irving.
Iain says, "In life, I like to do DIY (do it yourself) but I enjoy it more when I DIT (do it together). Life being work, play and being with others. These others can be lovers, friends, family or just people you’ve met. Sharing life’s tasks make for a more joyous personal feeling and outcome… mostly."
