Description

You are cordially invited to Florida Gulf Coast University's (FGCU) RHM Spring 2018 Career & Internship Fair for the recruitment of Resort & Hospitality Management students.

The National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) FGCU Student Chapter is happy to announce registration is open for any hospitality company that would like to participate. All proceeds will support the FGCU NACE Student Chapter.

Regular Registration (Includes 2 Participants and 1 Table): $100

The price includes: (1) 6ft Table & Linen, (2) Chairs, (2) FGCU Parking Passes and (2) Catered Lunches.

*Maximum of four attendees per table with additional costs incured*

*Bring Battery Backup due to limited power supply in the ballroom*

*Online payment preferred. If you are paying by check please register attendance and make checks payable to: Everglades CMAA Student Chapter, checks must be received no later than January 19, 2018 or your registration will be cancelled*

*Right to Refuse: The School of Resort & Hospitality Management reserves the right to deny access and participation to any student, alumni, recruiter, hiring organization and/or school. *

*Eligibility:

-Any recruiter representing his/her direct hiring organization may participate in career fairs.

-Any recruiter representing his/her direct hiring organization (to include staffing agencies) may participate in career fairs.

*Cancellations & No Shows:

-Cancellations received IN WRITING, prior to the cancellation deadline 7-days before the fair will receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued after the 7-day deadline.

-If registration has been made and the organization is a "no-show", registration will not be refunded or credited toward any future career fairs.

-Organizations whose account is not paid in full will be required to pay for all past outstanding fees and pre-pay for the current fair they wish to attend. Employers with any outstanding fees will not be permitted to attend the fair, until their account is paid in full.

-If the University is operating on a regular academic/work schedule, the career fair will be held as scheduled. Therefore, NO refunds will be granted. In the rare circumstance that the University is closed (i.e. classes are canceled), the career fair will be canceled and every attempt will be made to reschedule the event with already registered employers being automatically registered for the new date. Normal cancellation policy will apply to newly scheduled event.

-If circumstances warrant, the director reserves the right to extend the final deadline.

*School recruiters and employers may only use fairs to identify and recruit candidates for employment and/or their academic programs. Recruiters may not sell their products/services or solicit future purchase of products/services at a fair.*

Event Timeline:

Setup: 10:30am-12pm

Guest Speaker and Catered Lunch: 11:30am-12pm

Job & Internship Fair:

-12pm-1pm (Collier County High School Students will walk the career fair searching for 400 employment hours in hospitality. Five highschools will be represented with a total of 250 students.)

-1pm-4pm (Resort & Hospitality Management, PGA Golf Management, & Lutgert College of Business Students).
