RGS Presents Moliere's The Miser adapted by Freyda Thomas
Event Information
Event description
Description
Although The Miser is usually considered a comedy, its tone is one of absurdity and incongruity rather than of gaiety. The play recasts the ancient comic figure of the miser who is inhuman in his worship of money and all too human in his need for respect and affection. There are other performances on Saturday 30 June at 2 p.m & Tuesday 3 July at 7 p.m.
