The Managing Director’s Office is seeking proposals to develop or expand programs to reduce evictions in Philadelphia or respond to its effects. The goals of the project are to:

  • Reduce eviction related actions from resulting in the involuntary removal of a family or individual from their home
  • Identify new approaches to policy, programs or existing systems that can be used to significantly reduce the number of evictions that occur in Philadelphia

The project should include the development of improvements to existing systems, policy or programs coupled with direct services to individuals experiencing eviction, targeted at low-income residents who are most vulnerable.

Health & Human Services staff members will be present to review the RFP and respond to questions about the proposed services. A representative from OEO will also be present to discuss OEO Participation Requirements and to respond to questions. Attendance at the pre-proposal meeting is not required, but is strongly encouraged.
