Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day! Join us for the first annual Reynoldsburg Summit For Sustainability.

About this Event

In honor of the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day; Keep Reynoldsburg Beautiful, Eco Development, TDT Productions and the Ohio Recycling Coalition will host a unique summit for sustainability where attendees will learn from industry experts how to achieve sustainable economic development for municipalities, local governments, businesses, public and private schools, and colleges and universities. Location is the Reynoldsburg School’s Summit Road Campus Auditorium at 8579 Summit Road Reynoldsburg, OH 43068.

Our audience includes but not limited to; Mayors, key city planners, development directors and purchasing agents from Central Ohio municipalities, Central Ohio Township Officials, Ohio’s Solid Waste Districts, and County Commissioners, Central Ohio Colleges and Universities, Park Managers and purchasing representatives with Ohio State Parks, City Parks and Metro Parks, Ohio Zoos’ education and administration representatives, Keep America Beautiful Affiliates, Ohio’s Fortune 500 Corporations, Central Ohio Chamber of Commerce Members, Reynoldsburg local businesses and organizations, Reynoldsburg School District Administration, Teachers and Students, Members of Sustainable Ohio and the Ohio Sustainable Business Council,

On April 9, 2020 watch in awe as students showcase public service announcements they have produced to honor the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day. Get Up and dance to a special performance by New King Records' award winning recording artist Darian Pellman and Nevaeh Sky, a teen sensation and star in the upcoming movie Breaking The Silence.

On April 10, 2020 , The Reynoldsburg Summit Sustainable topics will cover cutting edge recycling trends to include robotics, transformation of plastics to oil to energy, lighting for energy efficiency, College and University sustainable practices, Zero Waste Plans for Communities, solar technology, trending green building templates, emerging Organic and Organic Inorganic Hybrid Photovoltaic devices for specialty applications: Low‐Level‐Lighting Energy Conversion and Biomedical Treatment, emerging organics applications, renewed life for scrap tires, energy and waste audits, innovative energy and resource saving products.

Conference Registration is complimentary although donations are welcomed. Exhibit and display space is complimentary however space is limited and donations from exhibitors are welcomed.

Morning and afternoon break refreshments will be served.

Lunch will be on your own and information about local Reynoldsburg Restaurants will be made available.

Tours on your own of the; Alexander W. Livingston House, the Reynoldsburg Museum, and Motorcycle Museum.

An Escorted Bus Tour of the Franklin County Landfill Jackson Pike Transfer Station, Quasar’s Anaerobic Digestion. Seating is limited.

We are asking, in lieu of a registration fee or exhibitor fee a nonperishable food item be donated which in turn will be donated to the Reynoldsburg Mid-Ohio Market At Food Pantry and the Reynoldsburg Helping Hands Food Pantry.
