In her latest book, The Distance Between Us, Reyna writes about her life before and after illegally immigrating to the United States from Mexico. A National Book Circle Critics Award finalist, The Distance Between Us is an extraordinary story about the pursuit of a better life. The Los Angeles Times hailed it as “the Angela’s Ashes of the modern Mexican immigrant experience.”

You are invited to join us for an inspirational author’s reception with Reyna Grande, where she will share her journey as an immigrant in pursuit of the American dream.
