Rey Feo LXXIV Candlelight Ball

Since 1947, the Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable non-profit organization, has raised in excess of $7 million to fund scholarships that have been awarded to over 3,000 deserving area high school seniors in support of their quest to earn their college degrees. Solong as the student continues to progress in college, they receive a scholarship in the amount of $2,000 for each of their four years of college.

The Candlelight Ball is, traditionally, one the principal fundraising events of the Rey Feo and supports the scholarship foundation as well as the current Rey Feo’s reign. Included in the Candlelight ball is the Investiture of “the Royal Order of the Cabrito.” The “Cabrito” is the highest honor that can be conferred by the Rey Feo and is an honor given to only 100 personsduring their reign for service above the call of duty to the Rey Feo and reign. This event is a celebration of those who have helped the Rey Feo achieve success as well as ensuring the success of the reign.
