Description
The Reilly Center for Media & Public Affairs invites you to revisit the Louisiana constitutional convention of 1973. Join us on November 20, from 5-7 p.m. in the Holliday Forum of the Journalism Building on LSU's campus to hear first-hand accounts of the 1973 convention and learn about how decisions made there still affect Louisiana today.
Panelists include former governors Edwin Edwards and Buddy Roemer, former House Speaker Bubba Henry, as well as delegates Judge Jim Dennis, Woody Jenkins, Mary Zervigon, Judge Tom Stagg and Johnny Jackson, Jr.
There will be a reception in honor of the panelists and delegates immediately following the event. Please RSVP by clicking the "register with email" button at the top of the page to help us in the planning process. All attendees must provide their full name at registration.
All delegates and delegate's family members, please email Tara Brown at thamme1@lsu.edu to reserve special seating.
