NYC Theatrical Premiere, One Week Only!
"Odd, playful, melancholy and ultimately riveting!"
- Brandon Harris, FILMMAKER MAGAZINE (June 8, 2011 interview here)
"**** (Four Stars!) Stunning... A day after watching REVERSION, I'm still thinking about it... A week or two later, it'll still be in my mind."
- Rory Aronsky, FILM THREAT
"A bold and edgy film that explores philosophical and political ideas that are particularly relevant in a time when our leaders seem to make most of their decisions without regard to past, present or future."
- Kim Voynar, MOVIEFONE
The Sundance cult gem REVERSION is a strange and exciting allegory that's part gritty road movie, part lo-fi science fiction, and part love story. Writer/director Mia Trachinger's inventive follow-up to two-time Independent Spirit Award nominee BUNNY makes its New York theatrical premiere with a week-long run, June 10 - 16.
Los Angeles. Another reality. A swath of humanity is afflicted by a genetic mutation that prevents them from delineating time: the past, present, and future unfold simultaneously. The result is a savage, fractured society in which the mutants possess no moral values and no fear of death. Tough cookie Eva (Leslie Silva) knows there are no consequences to her actions as she desperately tries to avoid a destiny in which she kills Marcus (Jason Olive), the man she loves. Traversing the sprawling L.A. landscape in search of a cure, Eva's quest for redemption brings a collision of human frailty, free will, and the nature of time itself.
72 minutes. In English. Presented in Blu-ray. Unrated.

"Leslie Silva and Jason Olive... have an understated charisma. Their strong performances bring both credibility and life to REVERSION."
- Cullen Gallagher, THE L MAGAZINE (June 8, 2011)
"Thought provoking! REVERSION is like an Alex Cox movie made by Jim Jarmusch... Trachinger has a good eye and a way with broken, elliptical and circular dialogue."
- Ray Greene, BOX OFFICE MAGAZINE
