About:

The BDO seminars, Applying the New Revenue Recognition Standard Part 1 and Part 2, will be broadcast to AGC in Blountville on June 8 and 15. The times on both days is from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Lunch will be provided.

These two seminars will recap the key principles of the new standard and demonstrate how the guidance in each of the five steps of the new revenue recognition model applies in practical situations. It also covers issues such as contract costs, warranties, and principal/agent relationships.

Who should attend?

These sessions are for anyone in the construction industry involved in getting ready to implement the new revenue recognition standard that goes into effect for contractors whose accounting years begin after December 15, 2018. The new standard will affect years ending after December 15, 2017 for any contractor issuing comparative financial statements.
