Revelation & Finitude
Overview
Call for Papers
We invite contributions that bring the thought of William Desmond and Emmanuel Falque into dialogue, specifically in relation to the triptych God, revelation, and finitude. We are especially interested in papers which go beyond the schism between metaphysics and phenomenology. We also welcome papers which exclusively treat either Desmond or Falque. Privilege is given to those papers which treat the above triptych and can gesture towards the dialogue, along with thinking beyond the division of metaphysics and phenomenology. Please submit an abstract of 300 words and a short intellectual biography. The deadline for submissions is January 1st, 2027. Submissions should be sent to: PGonzales@stmarys.edu. You will be notified of acceptance no later than January 14th, 2027.
