Event description
A screening of the WWII documentary Return To Hardwick is being presented at the 93rd Bomb Group 2019 reunion.

About this Event

Limited seats are available for the screening of this informative and exciting documentary narrated by Michael Cudlitz from HBO's WWII series Band of Brothers.

The 93rd Bomb Group was arguably the most decorated, most traveled and most effective bomb group of WWII. Helping to cripple Hitler's Europe from the air, they executed some of the most daring bombing raids of the war. Along with the group's rich history, sons, daughters and grandchildren travel to England and explore the 93rd's long forgotten airbase - Hardwick Aerodrome 104.

The director Michael Sellers will introduce the film and conduct a Q&A session.

Return To Hardwick started as a grassroots project through the 93rd Bomb Group association. Michael Sellers' grandfather was a bombardier/navigator in the 93rd during the war. After attending a reunion in England in 2001 with his grandfather, Michael became deeply passionate about the story of the 93rd. He became an officer in the group and attends many reunions.
