About this event
Join the NYC Mayor's Office of Sustainability as we explore resources available to owners of properties that are 5,000 to 25,000 sq ft (roughly 5-25 units). Through the Retrofit Ready Webinar Series where participants will learn how to get started on energy and water conservation work, break down barriers, and increase internal capacity to support retrofits. We recognize that building decision makers are struggling with competing priorities such as their financial capacity and pending building repairs. These primary items of concern need to be addressed before pursuing energy projects.
We are highlighting resources that are available through government and community partners that will help you navigate building improvements and improve financial health. The first in the series is the no-cost CUNY Building Performance Lab building operator training which aims to improve the skills of operations and maintenance staff working in NYC’s residential buildings through an overview of critical building systems with an emphasis on preventative maintenance and energy efficiency.
