RethinkingRegulation Design Challenge
New York, NY
JOIN NYU WAGNER & OPENPLANS AS WE RETHINK GOVERNMENT REGULATION AROUND THREE PRESSING PROBLEMS - LIFE-THREATENING, NONCOMPLIANT "CHINATOWN" BUSES, ILLEGALLY CONVERTED APARTMENT RENTALS, AND food PRICE GOUGING IN NEWARK, NJ!
That's where you come in. With your help, we can use technology to make the everyday lives of citizens safer by rethinking regulation in the areas of Chinatown buses, food price gouging, and illegal apartment conversions.
Participants do not need to have a coding background! All individuals with ideas and passion to make this city better can register!
Registration is free, and all you need to bring is an appetite for innovation and your laptop. Coffee, WiFi, and a detailed overview of the problems in each area will be available at the event. Experts will also be on hand to answer any questions regarding illegal apartment conversions, food price gouging, or Chinatown buses.
