Rethinking Reactivity - Training Seminar for Pet Parents
Overview
Rethinking Reactivity: Helping Dogs Feel Calm, Connected, and Understood
Feeling overwhelmed by your dog’s reactivity can be isolating — but you’re not alone.
Rethinking Reactivity is a small-group, compassion-based workshop designed to help pet parents understand why their dogs react and how to respond in ways that build trust and calm.
Through a science-backed, empathy-driven approach, you’ll learn practical techniques that make a real difference in daily life — whether that’s smoother walks, calmer greetings, or more confidence for both of you.
This class focuses on achievable, real-world skills that help you and your dog feel:
• Calmer in challenging moments
• More confident in public spaces
• Better connected as a team
Join us at PUPS Pet Club GC in our large daycare room for a live demonstration of reactivity techniques you can see firsthand. Frankie will guide the group through key cues and exercises, showing how small, consistent changes can make a big impact. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and get personalized insight for your own dog’s challenges.
