TOPIC & SPEAKER
We live in an increasingly interconnected world that is growing in population and diminishing in resources. This is an extraordinary opportunity to either travel down a road of short term gain and continually greater consumption, or to rethink our priorities, and marshal our resourcefulness, technology, and ideas to create a sustainably prosperous future for this and subsequent generations.
We have a responsibility to ourselves and to the society that has given us these opportunities to build the platform for a thriving future. Andrew Sispoidis will be leading us in a discussion on this topic at our August #Rethink event.
Andrew is an angel investor, serial entrepreneur, and advisor to startups and large enterprises with game-changing ideas. As co-founder and CEO of Changeling Software and Heliotrope Studios (sold to THQ, Inc.), Andrew developed award-winning products that were recognized globally for their innovation. In 2001, Andrew formed Illuminated Partners, an R&D laboratory of next-gen technologies in the area of pattern recognition (facial recognition, biometrics, access control and authentication technologies, target acquisition, encryption, and artificial intelligence). In 2004, he co-founded and became CEO of IGA Worldwide. Andrew has been inducted into the Game Hall of Fame. He is the executive director of the Center for Global Information Security.
#Rethink is a free monthly morning speaker series for free radicals. Each event includes a 30-minute speaker presentation and group discussion beginning at 8:30am, followed by 30 minutes of networking before everyone heads off to begin the workday.
