Description

This is a special edition of the The Rethink Maintenance Roadshow 2017. It is the regular one day FREE training event along with some additional hands on training the next day. The event is a combination of learning sessions blended with the opportunity to get answers to your questions and get hands-on demonstrations with some of the best predictive tools on the market today. There will be 2 learning sessions in the morning followed by a FREE lunch. In the afternoon, there will be 2 more learning sessions. Each of the learning sessions will be led by a subject matter expert from one of the sponsor companies that include Lubrication Engineers, LUDECA, People and Processes, and SDT Ultrasound Solutions. During the breaks, lunch, and after the final learning session, you will have an opportunity to visit the sponsor tables. This is an unique training opportunity that you don't want to miss.

This event will have a Second Day. The group will be divided into 4 groups and rotated through each of these sessions for hands on training through the plant.

The Learning Lab on day two of the Rethink Maintenance Road Show in Wichita Kansas will be hands on in the Lubrication Engineers’ manufacturing plant.

Lubrication Engineers – Hands On Training

You will experience firsthand how simple lubrication best practices can be while learning how to properly retrofit a gearbox with contamination control measures, kidney loop filtration, oil sampling procedures and overall reliability best practices to increase the life of the oil and the asset

Ludeca – Hands on Training

This will be a hands on session using a laser alignment system on a real rotating asset. The group will learn the importance of inputting accurate dimensions, measuring misalignment properly, and appropriate techniques for correcting soft foot and misalignment.

People and Processes Inc - Hands on Training

The opening session on Day 1 shared introductory RCM2 concepts used to determine the maintenance strategies for your assets. In this follow-on track session, we will continue our journey deeper into the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) world with information on how to conduct analyses and execute the findings. Jeff Shiver will share insights into the following takeaways:

  1. Selecting the right toolset – PMO, FMEA, or RCM
  2. Differences between classical RCM, RCM2 and RCM3
  3. Standards at play
  4. Asset selection
  5. RCM analysis – Driving an outcome
  6. Driving precision with standardized work
  7. Tools to document the analysis
  8. Gaining management support
  9. Implementation – The results matter
  10. Creating a living program

These session takeaways round out a high level, yet comprehensive overview of all the components necessary for success in your maintenance strategy development processes.

SDT - Hands on Training

Will show the versatility of ultrasound by demonstrating how simple it is to identify and locate gas (air) and valve leaks as well as monitor rotating equipment for bearing health and lubrication.
