While commuting to and from Chicago Booth, Liz Kammel found that her male classmates hated shopping because finding things that actually fit was burdensome, especially jeans. With a background in Mathematics from Emory University, Liz knew she could solve the issue with apparel fit by taking a data-driven approach. Liz eventually created an algorithm that optimized and simplified the shopping process for men, starting with denim.
ZipFit was born in 2011, starting as an affiliate website that hosted its proprietary fit technology but quickly transformed into an independent retailer with pop-up shops throughout Chicagoland. Today, the company is a full-fledge eCommerce website, providing customers around the world with access to its technology to get into perfect fitting jeans from ZipFit. The company plans on expanding into other men's apparel categories in the near future.
ZipFit offers premium denim and shirts from some of the top brands on the market, along with complimentary alterations to tie your perfect fit together.
