Event description

Description

Join us on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day 2018 for a Service Day as we remember those in prison whom are often forgotten and discarded from communities.

We will assemble basic hygiene items into care kits for those in prison to meet basic needs and to restore hope and dignity. We will also hear from a panel of community leaders and formerly incarcerated individuals as they share their stories, discussing the role of race, poverty and the law in mass incarceration.
