About this event
The Summit is ideal for Mental Health Professionals, Law Enforcement, first responders, clergy, counselors, supportive friends and family of survivors.
The Summit is sponsored by the University of Utah’s College of Social Work, Gender Based Violence Consortium and The Women's Resource Center, plus The Healing Center for Complex Trauma, and Holding out HELP.
Topics of the plenary and breakout sessions include:
Defining ritualistic abuse (RA), understanding DID created through RA, Neurodynamics of RA on a developing mind, navigating complex trauma, strategies to engage a survivor on their journey of healing, vicarious / secondary trauma for service providers, impact on families, and more.
CEUs (5.5 hours) will be available as well as opportunity to network with other professionals.
Mike Headrick from KSL will emcee the Summit.
Ticket price includes training, CEUs, refreshments, and lunch.
