SUPPORT HOPE FOR RENEWED LIVES
Each year, 20,000 people are trafficked across U.S. borders and New York City is a major port of entry. Most slaves are trafficked for commercial sexual exploitation and most are female. In New York City, women are forced to work in brothels and massage parlors in Flushing, Jackson Heights and Jamaica, Queens, Midtown Manhattan and Chinatown. Restore NYC is dedicated to empowering these women.
All event proceeds directly fund Restore NYC’s aftercare services and programs for internationally sex trafficked women in New York City.
All tickets are non-refundable and considered charitable donations to Restore. Tickets are non-transferable and may not be resold. Tax-deductible receipts are offered for charitable giving calculated from the net proceeds (a partial amount of the ticket purchase for the amount over $60). Only the direct ticket purchaser will receive a receipt.
$ 100 provides food and other basic necessities for one woman for 10 days.
$ 1,000 provides screening and court advocacy for one woman within the New York judicial system
$10,000 provides shelter at Restore's safehouse for eight women for 100 days.
