About Teacher:

Lydia Atkins is an alignment & accessible based yoga teacher through Here Now Yoga taught by Rebecca Empello & Kim Drye. Lydia started practicing yoga with elders at a local gym when she was a teenager. She later traveled abroad to live in an intentional community as a caregiver for people with special needs and developed a personal practice to care for herself. This was profound. Her teaching style has developed through her experience supporting differently abled bodies. She encourages each person to observe and connect with their unique bodies, breath and center. She is the Co-Founder of Wild Ground Alabama.
