Restorative Yoga Series
SESSION ONE - ALL ABOUT THE HIPS
Restorative yoga is a slow yet powerful practice that restores balance to the physical body, the emotional body and the mind. Living in this modern fast paced world can see us in a constant state of doing, this practice allows you to retreat from the hustle, slow down and find balance. The body comes into a rest and digest state and the mind floats into stillness.
In this session we will be focusing on the hip area of the body, practicing restorative poses to support and open the hips, decompress the joins and deeply relax the muscles. Some of us naturally we tend to hold a lot of tension and emotions in this area of the body, this practice will allow this area to come back into allignment, balance and peace.
You will also experience some breath/pranayama techniques and be guided through an extended Yoga Nidra, (full body relaxation) that will allow the body and mind to enter a deep state of rest and repair - finishing it all off with a lovely long savasana.
No experience necessary
BYO - eye pillow and your favourite comfortable blanket (recommended but not essential)
