Working from the inside out, we begin the session with a series of somatic movements to wake up the brain's response to your tight muscles. This helps dissolve habitual tension and stress held in the body in preparation for a deeper relaxation. We then move on to restorative yoga postures, where you are propped up, supported and nurtured for an extended period of time. The last part of the session includes yoga nidra, meditation using the breath, mantras and the uplifitng and rejuvenation effects of music in the form of kirtan meditation. We finish with tea and cake.
Throughout the session you will receive essential oils specifically chosen to calm and balance the nervous system, to help you into a deeper relaxation and a stregthened body-mind connection.
