Description

This training will focus on prevention. This includesusing Restorative Practices (RJ) to provide paricipants with the skills to develop collaborative norms, teaching how to use affective questions and statements, and gaining skills for impromptu dialogue and proactive circles.

This workshop is geared toward those who have had previous basic Restorative Justice training, who may be looking for more Restorative Justice (RJ) practice or actual RJ opportunities in the community. Participants will learn how to apply restorative justice to their specific community needs, while moving from Restorative Justice theory to becoming RJ practitioners. CEU credit available.

During this workshop, participants will:

  • apply skills in challenging role play situations
  • learn how to capture ideas and develop solutions
  • gain effective agreement writing skills
  • receive up-to-date information on Colorado Restorative Justice standards
  • discover opportunities to practice RJ within their communities
  • grow their Restorative Justice networks
