Restorative Practices 2-Day Training April 7-8

This two-day Restorative Practices training provides an in-depth look at peace-keeping techniques, communication skills, and conflict resolution. Restorative Practices www.iirp.edu have been used throughout the world to promote constructive dialogue and to resolve conflict. It is used with children and adults, and has even been used to help populations heal from war.
Certified trainers: Dr. Tammy Holmes and Jimi Bradley
Registration required: We have room for 10 participants. Participants must attend both days. Participation is free, but the Carbondale Public Library Compassion Fund is covering the cost of the training ($150 per person). Those who register are required to attend.
Free lunch will be provided.
This training is open to anyone who is part of the Carbondale, IL community, whether you live, work, learn, or play here. Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. You may attend as an individual, or as a representative of an organization. Participating organizations: Please send no more than 2 representatives to the training.
Time: Friday, April 7 & Saturday, April 8, 2017; 9am - 3pm (must attend both days)
Location: Carbondale Township 217 E. Main St., Carbondale, IL 62901 (across from the Bank of Carbondale). Parking is available behind the Township office, and entry will be through the back door.
