Whether you’re starting a new restaurant or managing an existing one, this four-day interactive workshop provides participants with the structure, resources, and expertise to develop a fully developed business plan over a five-week period. Limited to twelve participants, instructors will highlight the steps and principles of: drafting a written business plan and executive summary; implementing the completed plan as a management tool, and; framing its contents to produce funding solicitations and financial projections.

The workshop covers all critical aspects of the restaurant business, including industry overview, operations, sales and marketing, competitive strategy, risk management, HR, service standards, and finance in this cohort-style setting.

Participants and instructors will meet for four consecutive Saturdays from 9am to 4:30pm, beginning September 9. Lunch and coffee breaks are included in the cost. Also included is a one-on-one consult to be scheduled in early October to review the final draft of each business plan with their respective participant(s).
