Join InnovateHealth Yale as we hear from Jennifer Staple-Clark, Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Unite for Sight.
In 2000, Jennifer Staple-Clark, then a sophomore at Yale College, founded Unite For Sight in her dorm room. Unite For Sight is now a leader both in global health education and in providing cost-effective care to the world's poorest people. Jennifer received the American Institute of Public Service's 2009 National Jefferson Award and a BRICK Award, which honors and funds change-makers who identify problems and work to change the world. She has also been featured in the book Our Time is Now: Young People Changing the World, as well as in many other publications. Unite For Sight supports eye clinics around the world, scales impact on global health delivery by developing and nurturing the next generation of global health leaders through its Global Impact Fellows, convenes annually the largest social entrepreneurship conference in the country, and with its Global Health University nurtures the next generation of global health leaders.
This event is free and open to Yale students. Dinner will be served.
