Description

How can one person make a difference in the life of a homeless person? How can your group make an impact? The Compassionate Community Service team will bring together representatives from local government, nonprofits, social action groups, and faith groups for a community forum on homelessness in Western Fairfax County. The purpose of the forum is to raise awareness about homelessness in our local communities, school groups, scouting and volunteer organizations, and the Northern Virginia community at large is invited to participate.

You will have the opportuntiy to hear voices of local people who have experienced homelessness who will attend to share their personal stories, as well as a video created for the event.
