About this event
This couse address a research based Response to Active Shooter and is open to the public (ages 16 and up). The purpose is to provide some facts and crucial information regarding simple steps to increase your survivibility and perhaps others around you. You will have an opporunity to do hands on learning on how to effectively use a tourniquet to stop someone from potentially bleeding out before the professionals arrive on scene. You will also learn some proactive steps you can take to potentially preserve your life and/or the lives of others.
*Teachers / School Staff that attend will also receive professional growth points for attending and a tourniquet for free (as supplies are available).
Use of the tourniquet will be taught by LT John Grounds (TCCC certified instructor, Law Enforcement Officer, and EMT response professional)
Location: This cours will take place in the large open training area of the archery range side of Red Dawn Armoy right off of old highway 41 in Princeton, Indiana.
