2:30 - 6:30 p.m. Training

Human trafficking is becoming an increasing problem in the Twin Cities metro area and property owners, managers and staff can play an important role in fighting this crime. Human trafficking is a hidden crime and the first step to combating it is to identify victims so they can be rescued. This training session will teach how you and your employees can identify the signs of human trafficking and understand the role of property managers and staff in working effectively with law enforcement. The Family Partnership PRIDE program has provided support services to sexually exploited women, teens and their families for nearly 40 years and will be facilitating the training.

Who should attend? Rental property owners, managers and staff such as leasing agents, maintenance, etc.

Provided by the St. Louis Park Area Rental Coalition (SPARC) and the St. Louis Park Police Department.

The following police departments will also be in attendance as partners with St. Louis Park on this event: Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina, Golden Valley, Hopkins, Minnetonka and Plymouth.

Box lunches will be provided by Lunds & Byerlys.
