Overview
In this workshop (3 hr general ), Dr. Reginald Parquet will explore the issues facing children exposed to DV and what caregivers can do .
Upon completion of this 3 hr general in-person CEU event, participants will learn to:
1. Explore the types and dynamics of abuse
2. Identify symptoms and signs of abuse
3. Understand the long-term health effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)
4. Understand the dynamics and long-term impact on children exposed to domestic violence
5. Understand treatment interventions that parents/caregivers and case managers can implement to reduce harm to children
