Golf Registration
$150 entry fee per person includes greens fee, cart, lunch, on course refreshments, and awards reception with dinner, beer, and wine. Register as a team or as individuals. If you wish to play with a particular golfer, you will have the opportunity to let us know in the registration process. Please register below if you need additional reception tickets or if others would like to volunteer. NOTE: As you will see below some sponsorships include registration for golfer(s).

Sponsorship includes 24" x 36" sign with logo/image at the Reception and/or opportunity to display pre-aproved Company banner at the Reception. Opportunity to include Company materials and promotional items in golfers' gift bags. Personal recognition and opportunity to speak to all Reception guests on behalf of your Company. You will have an opportunity to share your .EPS, .PDF, or high resolution Image or Logo and to share the names of your guests for the Reception before completing the registration process. Reception Ticket
Friends of Respite Care Charleston who are not participating in the golf tournament are invited to join us in The Atlantic Ballroom at the Seabrook Island Club following completion of tournament play (around 5:30pm). Expansive outdoor verandas allow you to enjoy the ocean views as you relax and visit with other tournament players and guests. A casual dinner, beer and wine are served. Silent auction will close during reception. Reception and awards event included in golfer registration and some sponsorships. Additional guests are welcome. Registration is required and limited.

Volunteer (Suggested Donation $25 to cover lunch and dinner)
RCC Families, Community Partners, Sponsors, Program Volunteers, and Friends and Family of all are encouraged to register to participate as event volunteers. Volunteer assignments include the following: assembly of golfer gift bags, event registration, assembly of lunch, setting up and removing sponsor signs, event set up and break down, prize hole witnesses, event photographers, correspondence, silent auction coordinators, reception bartenders, and note card sales. In accordance with "best practices" for non-profit events, a $25 donation is suggested for volunteers to cover lunch and dinner costs. Please make your donation in the field below.

Respite Care Charleston's 10th Annual

"Betty Cannon" Golf Tournament

Please join us to raise awareness and support for a local non-profit organization providing services and support for people with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. 

The shamble tournament with a shotgun start and additional on course contests will be played on Crooked Oaks Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., a 6,780-yard, par 72 course that winds through marsh, maritime forests and moss-hung, century old live oaks. Following completion of tournament play, volunteers, and reception ticket holders will join the golfers in The Atlantic Ballroom at the Seabrook Island Club for an Awards Reception and Dinner.

A small Silent Auction will include: Golf outings at local golf clubs, 72 Quart Igloo Cooler, Private Tennis Lesson, ceramic art from LimeBlue Studio, Urban Nirvana Gift Card, Home Team BBQ Gift Card, and other golf related items.

TO AVOID FEES, PLEASE NOTE PAY OFFLINE OPTION at the end of registration process to avoid credit card fees. We can also enter your registration information manually if you send all details to info@respitecarecharleston.org or call (843) 647-7405 to provide registration information over the phone to avoid all registration fees.

You may add or change registration information (including golfer info, signage requests, and volunteer and reception guests details) after initial registration. Contact us or sign in and trasnfer registration.

Golf Registration - $150 per golfer

Golfers can register as a team or as individuals. Only first 144 players will be accepted. Entry fee is $150 per golfer. Entry fee includes greens fee, cart, on course lunch, refreshments and awards reception. 

Reception and Awards - $25 individual ticket

Following completion of play please join us in The Atlantic Ballroom at the Seabrook Island Club. Expansive outdoor verandas allow you to enjoy the ocean views as you relax and visit with other tournament players and guests. A casual dinner, beer and wine are served. A small silent auction will end during the reception. Reception and awards event included in golfer registration and reception ticket fees. Additional guests are welcome, advance registration is required and limited.

Putting Contest: 12noon

Reception and Awards: Following completion of play (around 5:30pm)

The shamble tounrnament will include on course contests, mulligan and red tee packages, small silent auction, and other opportunities to bring competitive spirit into this awareness and fundraising event will take place throughout the event.

Respite Care Charleston

Respite Care Charleston (RCC) provides social day programs, support groups for early stage Alzheimer’s disease, and caregiver support groups for individuals and families affected by memory disorders. Participants in our respite programs enjoy memory stimulating socialization, music therapy and gentle exercise; family caregivers benefit from a much-needed break. Respite care is a short break from caregiving, and helps support and strengthen families, allowing the continuation of care in the home.

Since 1996, we’ve been committed to helping families in Charleston County who face the challenges of dealing with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Our services are structured to help individuals and families from the beginning, during early diagnosis and throughout the continuum of care. If you or a family member has recently been diagnosed and you’re wondering what’s next, we’re here to help.
