Respiratory Distress: Auscultation & Assessment of the Emergency Patient

This lecture for veterinary technicians will take attendees through the finer points of; differentiating lung sounds and breathing patterns as sequelae to specific pulmonary lung disease, how to understand the cause and effect of breathing sounds and what respiratory patterns mean when assessing your patient, potential courses of action in the treatment of the respiratory emergency patient, and nursing considerations for therapeutic and diagnostic treatments in an acute respiratory distress patient.
