Respect for Paraprofessionals Press Rally & Public Hearing

Join Us in Support of Our Paraprofessionals!
This Thursday, 9:00–10:00 AM at City Hall, we’re coming together to demand fair wages and respect for the incredible Paraprofessionals who keep our schools running every day. These dedicated educators deserve compensation that reflects their hard work, compassion, and essential role in our classrooms. Let’s stand side by side to tell our elected officials that respect starts with pay equity. We also encourage everyone to stay for the Public Hearing from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and keep our voices strong throughout the day. Together, we can make sure our paras know they’re valued, seen, and supported. Plus — anyone who signs up to support our paraprofessionals will receive exclusive UFT merchandise as a thank-you for showing up and standing up!
