Description

You marched.

You called congress.

Now let's get out the vote every month of 2018!

Yep, there's more than just the midterms in November. There are smaller races happening all year long.

Resistance Brunch is a fun, light hearted yet impactful way to get through the madness we're facing.

Make calls, send texts or write post-cards to voters over avocado toast and other goodies, all while hanging out with likeminded people!

If you've felt overwhelmed since election day I can guarantee you will feel so much better knowing that you're taking measurable action in opposition to He Who Shall Not Be Named and the Republicans in Congress.

New and experienced activists are welcome!

If you'ne never made a call to voters or done get out the vote work before - that's okay. Training will be provided by a team of experienced organizers.

And if you've a campaign veteran missing the thrill of the auto-dailer...we've gotcha covered!

Join us Saturday, April 28th to make calls and send texts for Stacey Abrams!

Stacey is running for the democratic nomination for Governor of Georgia. If you don't know Stacey Abrams, meet her here: staceyabrams.com

You can choose between making calls (laptop and phone required) or sending texts (smartphone required and then you'll download an app called Hustle).

Stacey is a once in a generation candidate and would be the first African-American women to become Governor ever in our nations history, but first we need to help her win the primary in May.

Bring your friends, bring your neighbor. Stacey Abrams has to win!!

Getting there:

Take the 1/2/3/A/C/E to Penn Station

Take the N/Q/R/W/B/D/F to Herald Square

Accessibilty:

The building and room are wheelchair accessible through large elevators in the lobby. The bathrooms are wheelchair accessible.

There are two wheelchair accessible, gendered bathrooms. Everyone is welcome to use the bathroom that matches their gender idenity.

If you need an ASL interperter, please let me know so we can provide that for you.

Can't make to this resistance brunch but want to be kept up to date for the next one? Just drop your deats here and get an email about upcoming brunches.

Support our efforts by chipping in for the space cleaning, printed supplies and other supplies here.

Let's do the most good!

~ Ashley
