Join Penn IUR, in partnership with Perry World House, Kleinman Center for Energy Policy, and Humanities+Urbanism+Design Consortium for a lunch talk with Henk Ovink, Special Envoy for International Water Affairs for the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Principal, Rebuild by Design. He will discuss designing and implementing strategic water management initiatives in the U.S. and abroad. He will go in-depth on recent projects across resiliency, water safety, infrastructure improvement, and the accompanying political and cultural challenges to implementation. He has previously served as Senior Advisor to the Hurricane Sandy Rebuilding Task Force and both the Acting Director General of Spatial Planning and Water Affairs and the Director of National Spatial Planning for the Netherlands. Lunch will be served.
