8:30-9:00 AM: Opening remarks with Bill Hurles, former Executive Director of Supply Chain, General Motors; Executive Director of the Global Supply Chain Resiliency Council

9:00-9:45 AM: Keynote I: "Uncertainty Advantage: Leadership Lessons for Turning Risk Outside-In" by Gary Lynch, CEO, The Risk Project, and Author of Single Point of Failure and At Your Own Risk: How the Risk-Conscious Culture Meets the Challenge of Business Challenge

Gary will be discussing his new book and how Leaders should discover to navigate uncertainty to gain market advantage, by looking beyond financial performance and envisioning an opportunity by understanding the uncertainty. The book is not based on theory but a culmination of a decade of research, application and interaction with companies, growth leaders that observed success with a common theme: there is greater value in uncertainty than in traditional risk management.

9:45-10:30 AM: Moderated discussion with Jim Rice - Deputy Director, MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics

This will be an interactive audience-driven discussion around event expectations, the status and progress of SCRM and resiliency as a strategy and a profession, and ideas, advice, and recommended directions for the future of Resiliency programs.

Bill and Lou will discuss how a best-in-class supply chain resiliency program can set the foundation for transforming supply chain performance into a source of competitive advantage.

1:00-2:00 PM: “Introducing the Resilinc R Score” by Bindiya Vakil, CEO, Resilinc

Resilinc is launching the R Score, which is the world’s first comprehensive and comparable measurement of a company’s supply chain resiliency. It provides an analysis of the trend, breakdown of the elements comprising the score, and most importantly is a valuable tool to benchmark resiliency capabilities between different companies within an industry.

2:00-2:45 PM: 2017 Global Supply Chain Resiliency Council Awards

2:45-3:00 PM: Break and Book Signing with Gary Lynch

3:00-4:00 PM: “Supplier Collaboration Excellence “

This will be a panel discussion moderated by Gary Lynch where Rod MacLea, from Amgen, Lee Young, from ThermoFisher and Deepak Paluru, from Dentsply-Sirona will talk about how resiliency brings Suppliers and Customers together by aligning their recovery goals and enhances the trust and long term partnership for both companies.

4:00-4:30 PM: The Supply Chain Resiliency Maturity Model and Customer Journey, A Presentation by Ranna Rose, VP, Operations and Ayeena Puri, Director, Customer Success, Resilinc

Supply chain resiliency is a multi-year journey. The Resilinc team lays out the stages and milestones and timeframes and discusses what companies can expect.

4:30-5:15 PM: Discussion Panel with Vonnie French, VP Supply Chain at Palo Alto Network, Lisa Brady, Sr. Director, Sustainability & Risk Management, Dell and Prof. Dale Rogers, Logistics & Supply Chain, Arizona State University

Experiences, obstacles and success stories… A candid discussion with Vonnie and Lisa about being an early adopter and innovator who led the industry in developing a world class supply chain resiliency capability that has fueled robust growth over the last four years.
