9:00-9:45 AM: Keynote: "Uncertainty Advantage: Leadership Lessons for Turning Risk Outside-In" by Gary Lynch, CEO, The Risk Project, and Author of Single Point of Failure and At Your Own Risk: How the Risk-Conscious Culture Meets the Challenge of Business Change
Gary will be discussing his new book and how Leaders should discover to navigate uncertainty to gain market advantage, by looking beyond financial performance and envisioning an opportunity by understanding the uncertainty. The book is not based on theory but a culmination of a decade of research, application and interaction with companies, growth leaders that observed success with a common theme: there is greater value in uncertainty than in traditional risk management.
9:45-10:30 AM: Moderated discussion with Jim Rice - Deputy Director, MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics
This will be an interactive audience-driven discussion around event expectations, the status and progress of SCRM and resiliency as a strategy and a profession, and ideas, advice, and recommended directions for the future of Resiliency programs.

Resilinc is launching the R Score, which is the world’s first comprehensive and comparable measurement of a company’s supply chain resiliency. It provides an analysis of the trend, breakdown of the elements comprising the score, and most importantly is a valuable tool to benchmark resiliency capabilities between different companies within an industry.

This will be a panel discussion moderated by Gary Lynch where Rod MacLea, from Amgen, Lee Young, from ThermoFisher and Deepak Paluru, from Dentsply-Sirona will talk about how resiliency brings Suppliers and Customers together by aligning their recovery goals and enhances the trust and long term partnership for both companies. Supplier awards will be presented at the end of this session.
