An opportunity to attend a 1-day Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships – Teaching & Learning materials SECONDARY workshop delivered by Respectful Relationship officers and lead school teachers trained by University of Melbourne.

This interactive 1-day training, limited to two teachers from each partner and lead school, will include:

  • Overview of the evidence-base informing the approach used in the RRRR teaching and learning materials (inclusive of a focus on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and Gender and Respectful Relationships)

  • Overview of how an explicit classroom education program fits within and advances a whole school approach to building resilience, and to fostering respectful relationships

  • Sampling of key learning activities to familiarise teachers with the pedagogical features of the learning activities

  • Guidance about how to tailor the program to meet the needs of students/school

  • Coaching on use of the collaborative learning strategies used throughout the program, including use of games, group tasks, and role-play activities

NOTE: Please bring RRRR hard copy Secondary Resource provided to your school with you - these will be essential materials during the workshop.
