About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Feeling overwhelmed, run down, or just in need of some peace and quiet?

Join us for a calming, guided Forest Bathing experience designed to help you reconnect with nature—and regulate your nervous system in the process.

Rooted in both ancient practices and modern neuroscience, Forest Bathing (Shinrin-yoku) is a gentle, mindful walk through the forest.

Busy mind? Racing thoughts? Difficulty slowing down? Forest Bathing is a proven method to help you let go, and become present to the moment.

This is not a hike. It’s an opportunity to:

  • Relax through deep rest
  • Calm your overworked nervous system
  • Learn simple tools for mindful nature connection
  • Experience first-hand nature’s effect on reducing stress and boosing your mood

Your Guide, Monica Sander Burns, has four years' experience leading forest bathing in Whistler's forests. Monica's forest bathing experiences have been featured in Conde Nast as one of the top Wellness experiences in Canada. She has guided walks for the University of British Columbia, Whistler's Wellness Series, and the Vancouver Foundation.
