Basic Emergency Casualty Care Workshop

for Civilians, Law Enforcement, and other “Take Charge” Americans

Lifesaving Training for “Prepared and Ready” Americans

You stop at a horrific car accident and see that a passenger’s lower leg is nearly severed.  An elderly man collapses inside the mall, unconscious, after clutching his chest.  A child’s lung is punctured by an active shooter’s bullet.  Your loved one has been stabbed and slashed when you defended yourselves against street muggers.  You are alone, bleeding profusely from a deep thigh injury sustained while doing housework.  Although 9-1-1 has already been called and the ambulance is enroute, you’ve got to ask yourself the following:

  • What should I be doing to help the wounded / injured?
  • What can I be doing to help the wounded / injured?

During the 3 to 6 minutes (or more) that it takes for an ambulance to arrive with Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel, someone who is not breathing, severely bleeding, or goes into shock may not survive until help arrives.

Overview

This 8-hour, hands-on training course – based on the U.S. Department of Defense’s Tactical Combat Casualty Care & Combat Lifesaver Courses – is designed specifically for parents, teachers, “high risk” employees, armed civilians, law enforcement officers and other “take charge” Americans who want to be able to perform lifesaving interventions – while waiting for more definitive medical care to arrive – on others and themselves during and after active killer / terrorist incidents, street confrontations, accidents (at home & work) and after natural disasters such as earthquakes, tornadoes & hurricanes.
